I am a fledgling author and an experienced outdoor educator in the Pacific Northwest. I began writing my debut children’s book Corbin Speaks Bee based on my experience consulting with school teachers on how to use their local outdoor spaces to support Next Generation Science Standards and classroom learning.

Nowadays, I reside along the Snohomish River in Washington with my husband and two cats. When I’m not gardening, I am often in pursuit of my latest crafting obsession, baking, or listening to an audiobook.
